Matthew Kohler, MD
Dr. Kohler understands the need for a proven yet personalized treatment plan to alleviate his patients’ suffering. He offers a wide variety of interventions, including epidural steroid injections, facet joint blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and joint injections to help bring his patients the quality of life they are accustomed to experiencing. He has extensive research involvement and keeps current on the latest medical literature and advanced procedural techniques in order to optimize each patient’s functionality and minimize suffering.
Dr. Kohler is also a Cancer Survivor. Having undergone 18 months of chemotherapy as a teenager for Lymphoma, he is able to fully appreciate the patient perspective, which allows him to empathize completely with his clients.
As a result of his commitment to patient care and the community, Dr. Kohler is the Founder and President of the ChemoCare Foundation, an organization committed to supporting children undergoing cancer treatments. Dr. Kohler grew up in a Cuban-American family in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. In his free time he enjoys attending concerts and art galleries, traveling abroad, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
